Our story
About 2WE
2WE, World Women Empowerment was founded to close a simple but persistent gap: many women who are ready to lead, build a business, or re-enter the workforce lack consistent access to mentorship, structured skill-building, and a community that believes in their next step. 2WE exists to close that gap directly, one cohort and one mentorship relationship at a time.
Our Mission
To create accessible pathways for women through mentorship, leadership development, education, economic opportunity, advocacy, and community support — so every woman we serve leaves with a concrete next step and a lasting network.
Our Vision
A future where a woman's access to leadership, opportunity, and support is determined by her ambition, not her circumstances. We measure progress by outcomes we can verify, not by the size of our claims.
What guides our work
Dignity first
Every woman we serve is met with respect, privacy, and agency over her own path.
Evidence over image
We publish what is verified. We do not inflate numbers or stage stories for marketing.
Community rooted
Programs are shaped with the women and communities we serve, not designed at a distance.
Accountable growth
We scale only as fast as our systems, funding, and evidence support responsibly.
Leadership
Full leadership biographies are being finalized as our organizational profile grows. Below are current roles guiding 2WE's programs and governance.
Executive Director
Leads 2WE's strategy, programs, and community partnerships. Full biography available on request as our leadership pages are finalized.
Director of Programs
Oversees curriculum design and day-to-day delivery of 2WE's cohort and mentorship programs.
Board Chair
Chairs the 2WE Board of Directors and supports organizational governance and accountability.
Our accountability commitment
We commit to publishing only verified statistics, real program outcomes, and approved photography. As a young organization, our public claims will grow at the same pace as our documented results — never faster.
